We’re pleased to announce that as part of our commitment to your health and wellness, convenient and confidential health screenings will be available on-site. If you participate in a health screening and complete the online Health Assessment, available in early November, you’ll receive a discount on your 2009 medical premium.
The screening will take place on Oct 8 and 9 from 7:30am to 1:30pm in the multi-purpose room.
Sign up sheets are in Administration. Flu shots will be at the same time. You can sign up for wellness check and/or a flu shot.
This health screening requires that you fast (no food, only water for a minimum of 8-12 hours). The Cholesterol and Diabetes screening is conducted via a fingerstick. The Health Screenings are free of charge for benefit eligible employees.
The employee health screening is a great assessment tool to determine your current health status. And, it’s quick and easy. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete the paperwork and screening.
The Health Screening includes the following tests:
· Cholesterol
· Glucose
· Blood Pressure
· BMI and Body Fat
· Waist Circumference
· 2-3 minutes of counseling
